Our Server Administration/Management service gives you the reassurance that your online presence and your hosted server are in good hands. It also allows you to accurately forecast your costs as the service comes with a fixed monthly fee, leaving you with more time to focus on your core business.

Day to day management of your server includes:

Operating system upgrades, Log file rotation, adding and removing users, network configuration and scheduled tasks configuration

Supported software upgrades or service patch updates

Mail Server (adding/deleting users, mail forwards, autoresponders)

Web Server (adding/deleting domains, password protection, server module support)

FTP Server (adding/deleting users, restricting access)

DNS Server (adding/deleting domain names, modifying zone files and managing DNS configuration)

Server hardware and network equipment maintenance and monitoring

Our system administrators are on hand to support the following operating systems:

RedHat, SuSe Linux

Solaris 2.6 or above (Intel and SPARC platforms)

For 3rd party software, please provide DataGate with configuration instructions, installation CD (or other media) and software licenses.

System administration is performed during business hours from 9am to 7pm, Monday - Friday.
