What is the version of / path to MySQL?

DataGate supports two versions of MySQL on the Shared Hosting platforms.

MySQL 4Current
Version:            4.0.15
Path to server:mysql4.datagate.net.uk
Server port: 33064

MySQL 3Legacy
Version:            3.23.43
Path to server:mysql.datagate.net.uk
Server port: 33060

  
NOTE: Your database name is the same as your primary domain name but withour the domain suffix (e.g. datagate NOT datagate.co.uk)

Your database username and password are the same as those used for your FTP and Control Panel access.
