Job Title: Sales Executive

Duration: Full-Time

Role Description

We have several technical support staff and are now looking to recruit technical sales / business development person. The role reports directly to the managing director and involves maintaining existing business as well as generating new accounts. This is an excellent opportunity to stamp your mark in this company and become, if successful, the sales director.

Main purpose of role,

  • To promote the company’s services and win new business
  • Maintain our existing customer base and encourage them to move forward
  • Cold calling to new customers
  • Work with the technical team to produce business proposals for potential clients as requested
  • You love working closely with your technical team to identify opportunities
  • Manage all costs associated with marketing/business development
  • Ensure that the company’s sales strategy reflects current and future needs of the business and changes in technology
  • Visit new and existing customers on an as required basis with or without technical personnel
  • Define complaint handling and escalation procedures

    Key Skills:

  • A proven track record in New Business development, essentially in the IT / Web Hosting industry
  • An understanding of the core market to achieve new business
  • Exceptional sales and communications skills
  • Tenacity to work within longer sales cycles
  • Must have a ‘Can do, Hands on’ approach
  • Team Player
  • Service Obsessed

    Understanding of these internet technologies is essential, database and web servers, back up, load balancing and firewalls. Any previous experience managing web design or application development projects would be an advantage.

    Salary: £25,000 + basic plus Benefits and uncapped commission
